SugarDVD Contest Features Ron Jeremy

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mail-order adult movie rental house SugarDVD.com has capped off a mainstream public relations blitz with a new “Win a Date with a Porn Star Legend Contest” featuring Ron Jeremy.

According to SugarDVD CEO Jax, the recent media attention the company received from an unsolicited endorsement by actress Tori Spelling has prompted him to launch the contest with Jeremy as the grand prize.

“We think hanging with Ron Jeremy is a great reward for those who love adult movies, and Ron’s appeal reaches a wide variety of people from frat boys to beautiful ladies,” Jax said.

SugarDVD will give the winner of the contest a roundtrip airline ticket to Los Angeles, accommodation at a fashionable Hollywood hotel, spending cash and lunch — burger and fries — with Jeremy.

“I think this is going to be a lot of fun, and with all of the exposure that SugarDVD has been getting lately, I couldn’t be happier to be the grand prize for this contest,” Jeremy said.

The Spelling comment was picked up by a number of mainstream news outlets, including the New York Post’s gossip section, where the actress confessed her and her husband’s love of porn.

Jay Leno joked about Spelling’s rental habits on “The Tonight Show.”

The contest is open to those over 21. It runs until November.
